The Drive Medical BEN 2G makes getting in and out of the bathtub easier and allows for comfortable seated showering. The seat can be rotated 360° and locks automatically into four 90° positions. This allows the user to first sit down outside the tub and then rotate in a controlled manner into the desired position.
The lightweight aluminum frame is placed directly onto the edge of the tub and secured against slipping using adjusting screws. The BEN 2G is suitable for tubs with an internal width of 48.5 to 64.5 cm. The spacious 44 × 44 cm seat, backrest, and armrests support a stable seating position. Despite its low weight of only 3.47 kg, the bathtub rotating seat can support up to 130 kg.
Check for a secure fit and undamaged components before each use. The swivel lock must securely engage in the 90° positions. Do not stand on the bathtub seat and do not exceed the maximum load of 130 kg.
