Effort-saving support for caregivers

The Drive Medical PowerStroll wheelchair power pack supports caregivers in pushing a manual wheelchair and significantly reduces the physical effort required. Especially on inclines, ramps, and longer distances, the electric motor takes over a large part of the propulsion, while the caregiver continues to steer and control the speed.

The clear control unit allows the speed to be adjusted steplessly up to 6 km/h in forward and reverse. Puncture-proof drive wheels ensure low-maintenance use in everyday life.

Depending on requirements, two versions are available: The PowerStroll Standard has a load capacity of up to 135 kg and is equipped with a 150-watt motor, while the PowerStroll HD, with 200 watts, supports up to 180 kg and is also suitable for a significantly wider range of wheelchair widths.

The power pack can be attached to many common manual wheelchairs and removed if necessary. The battery, controller, and the corresponding telescopic bar are matched to the drive system.

Electric pushing assistance, up to 6 km/h speed, and two load capacity classes make the PowerStroll a practical relief for relatives and caregivers who regularly push a manual wheelchair.

The PowerStroll is intended exclusively as a pushing aid for a caregiver and is not designed as an electric drive to be operated independently by the wheelchair user. Before use, compatibility with the existing wheelchair must be checked and the power pack must be professionally installed. The maximum total load of 135 kg for the standard model and 180 kg for the PowerStroll HD must not be exceeded.
