The Drive Medical Rotec XL is a reinforced standard wheelchair for users who require more space and load capacity. Its stable construction can withstand loads up to 190 kg and is available in three generous seat widths of 51, 56 or 61 cm.

The triple-adjustable seat height from 51 to 56 cm, height-adjustable backrest, and continuously adjustable leg length allow for individual customization. Swing-away leg rests and adjustable footplates facilitate transfers and support a suitable seating position.

Standard quick-release axles on the 24-inch drive wheels simplify disassembly for transport and storage. Puncture-proof PU tires ensure uncomplicated daily use.

Depending on requirements, the Rotec XL is also available with a drum brake for the attendant. This allows an attendant to brake the wheelchair in a controlled manner directly at the push handles – particularly helpful on inclines.

Loadable up to 190 kg, three generous seat widths, and extensively adjustable – the Rotec XL offers a robust mobility solution for users for whom a classic standard wheelchair is insufficient in terms of space or load capacity.

The seat width and seat height must be chosen to match the user and set professionally. Before transfers, the parking brakes must be fully engaged. Due to the total width of up to 83 cm, depending on the seat width, door widths and spatial conditions should be checked beforehand. The maximum load capacity of 190 kg must not be exceeded.
