Etac Handy Grab Bar

Secure hold in the bathroom and toilet

The Etac Handy grab bar provides reliable support in the bathroom and toilet and can make sitting down, standing up, and transferring safer and easier. It is particularly suitable for people with limited mobility, reduced strength, or instability when standing and walking, and creates a stable grip wherever additional support is needed.

The straight bathroom grab bars are available in lengths of 30 cm, 40 cm, and 60 cm and can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or at an angle as required. This makes them suitable for various applications – for example, next to the toilet, when getting in and out of the bathtub, or as additional support in the shower. The 40-cm angled version offers multiple grip positions and is particularly helpful for the transition between sitting and standing.

For a secure grip, the grab bars are equipped with non-slip rings. The oval shape fits comfortably in the hand and ensures a reliable hold even in damp environments. Screws and mounting elements are concealed after installation, resulting in a smooth surface with no exposed screw heads.

The wall grab bars are securely mounted to the wall using suitable anchors and fasteners. A wall with sufficient load-bearing capacity and fastenings appropriate for the wall material are crucial for safe use. Featuring an internal aluminum tube and a maximum weight capacity of 160 kg, the bars are designed for heavy-duty use.

Cleaning is also tailored to use in sanitary areas. Etac allows cleaning with solvent-free detergents with a pH range of 5–9 or a 70 percent disinfectant solution. Machine cleaning at up to 85 °C for three minutes is also provided for.

This makes the Etac Handy grab bar for bathroom and toilet a compact solution for more safety and independence in everyday life – available either as a straight bar in various lengths or as an angled version for additional grip options.
