Safe seated transfer over longer distances

The Immedia 3B-Board transfer board supports people with limited mobility with seated transfers between different seating and lying surfaces. It is suitable, for example, for transfers between bed and wheelchair, wheelchair and chair, to a shower chair, or for getting in and out of a car. Thanks to its stable construction, the board can also bridge larger gaps between two surfaces.

The characteristic curved shape allows for flexible positioning in different transfer situations. Depending on requirements, the curve can be oriented towards the front or the back. This is particularly practical if, for example, the board needs to be guided around the rear wheel of a wheelchair.

The smooth surface of the slide board reduces frictional resistance during the transfer, thereby supporting both independently performed movements and those assisted by a caregiver. On the underside, large anti-slip surfaces provide a more stable grip on the involved seating surfaces.

With a size of 230 × 770 mm, the transfer board offers sufficient length to bridge larger distances while remaining compact enough for daily use. The robust polyethylene is designed for a user weight of up to 150 kg. An integrated carrying handle makes it easier to transport and position the board before and after the transfer.

As such, the transfer board for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility can promote independence in everyday transfers while reducing the required physical exertion. The specific transfer situation and the user's ability should be assessed on an individual basis.

For cleaning, Etac recommends a solvent-free cleaning agent with a pH value of 5 to 9 or a 70 percent disinfectant solution. The product can then simply be wiped down.
