Space-saving seating comfort and secure support in the shower

The wall-mounted folding shower seat offers a safe and comfortable seating option for people who find it difficult to stand for long periods while showering. Thanks to its folding design, the seat can be folded up against the wall to save space when not in use, requiring only about 8 cm of depth. This makes it particularly suitable for smaller bathrooms and showers that need to remain flexibly usable by multiple people.

The ergonomically shaped seat is 40 cm wide and 45 cm deep. Its soft surface provides pleasant seating comfort while simultaneously being non-slip when wet. A slight forward tilt and the design of the seat surface support a comfortable sitting position and facilitate access for personal hygiene.

Depending on the level of support needed, the folding shower seat is available as a standard model or with flip-up armrests. The ergonomically shaped armrests have a soft, non-slip surface and provide extra support when sitting down, standing up, and while showering. Since the armrests are attached directly to the seat, they do not require separate wall mounting and can also be folded up to save space when not in use.

For higher weight capacity requirements, versions with height-adjustable support legs are available. While the wall-mounted variants without support legs can hold up to 125 kg, the maximum weight capacity increases to 150 kg with support legs. The seat height on these models can be adjusted between 45 and 55 cm. This allows the seat to be better adapted to body height and transfer needs.

The folding shower seat for seniors and people with limited mobility is available in white and gray and can be retrofitted if needs change. Among other accessories, Etac offers support legs and a soft, heat-reflective backrest. This ensures the equipment can be adapted later to increasing support or comfort requirements.

The easy-care materials are designed for regular use in wet environments. For cleaning, Etac allows the use of solvent-free cleaning agents with a pH value between 5 and 9 or a 70% disinfectant solution. Machine cleaning and disinfection at up to 85 °C for three minutes is also possible.

This makes the wall-mounted shower seat suitable for private bathrooms as well as care and medical facilities, combining space-saving design, a non-slip seat surface, and individually selectable support via armrests and support legs.
