Invacare Matrx Loxx Headrest – individually configurable

Invacare Matrx Loxx – compact and flexibly adjustable wheelchair headrest

The Invacare Matrx Loxx is a modular headrest system for wheelchairs and positioning backs. Featuring four adjustment points, it provides a compact and intuitive way to individually support the head and neck.

Two pivot points and a slide rail allow for precise alignment of the headrest pad. Furthermore, the curved mounting rod allows for laterally and forward-offset mounting positions, enabling it to accommodate mild asymmetrical postures and kyphosis.

The Loxx can be combined with various standard, neck, four-point, and HUG pads. This allows the level of support to be adjusted from simple occipital rest to more contoured head and temporal guidance.

For additional comfort, Invacare offers the Flipp Loxx. With this flip-back function, the headrest can be temporarily folded backward without completely losing its set position – for example, during transfers or caregiving tasks.

The standard Loxx pads consist of high-quality dual-density molded foam and are available with either a Startex or hygiene cover. Alternatively, machine-washable HUG pads are available.

With its combination of four-way adjustability, a wide selection of pads, optional flip function, and crash-tested mount design, the Invacare Matrx Loxx is particularly suitable for wheelchair setups where reliable head support is required with manageable adjustment effort.
