The Invacare Softform Premier is a high-quality anti-decubitus pressure redistribution mattress that combines uniform pressure distribution with a particularly stable edge zone.

The mattress consists of two coordinated foam components. A softer sleeping surface supports pressure relief, while the stable U-shaped foam base reinforces the outer areas of the mattress.

This edge reinforcement offers advantages, particularly when sitting on the edge of the bed, standing up, and during transfers. The mattress edge does not compress as much, thereby providing more stability during mobilization.

Invacare recommends the Softform Premier for decubitus prophylaxis for high-risk patients and for therapy support up to and including stage III.

The standard versions are available in 90 × 200 cm and 100 × 200 cm. In addition, selected special sizes are available. The mattress is 15.2 cm high, weighs around 13 kg in the standard version, and is designed for a maximum user weight of 247.6 kg.

The dark blue full PU cover is multi-stretch, breathable, and water-repellent. Welded seams and the protected wraparound zipper support hygienic use and reprocessing. The cover can be removed and cleaned at temperatures of up to 80 °C.

With its combination of pressure-distributing foam, high edge stability, easy-care cover, and the verified HMV number 11.29.05.1005, the Invacare Softform Premier is particularly suitable for nursing beds in home care, inpatient facilities, and clinical settings.
