Foldable like a classic wheelchair – designed like a performance model
The Ki Mobility Catalyst 5 is aimed at active manual wheelchair users who need a folding wheelchair but want to make as few compromises as possible when it comes to performance. The frame is made of high-strength 7000-series aluminum.
Ki specifies a weight of approximately 23 lb for the base model. A large selection of options allows the seat height, center of gravity, backrest, wheels, and other components to be tailored to the individual's propulsion technique.
The folding mechanism here is not a synonym for standard equipment
How efficiently the Catalyst 5 performs depends heavily on axle position, seat height, and handrim access. The configuration should therefore be developed based on individual propulsion technique.
