Movement with support – and a seat/pelvic base at the center
The R82 Pony takes a different approach to gait training than open walkers: the child is supported at the center of the frame via a seat or pelvic support and can actively use their legs for locomotion.
This design can be beneficial if free standing is not yet sufficiently stable, but active leg movement should be purposefully integrated into everyday life and therapy.
The seat should facilitate movement, not replace it
Height, pelvic position, trunk support, and wheel guidance must be adjusted so that the child participates as actively as possible. The configuration should therefore be carried out with therapeutic specialists.
